The wine cellar

Villa Pauli offers one of Sweden’s most exclusive wine cellars. Since our opening as a members club in 1986 we have consistently acquired unique bottles of the highest quality. Villa Pauli’s international network enables our members to order almost any wine they choose, including special vintages. A beautifully furnished private room adjacent to the wine cellar makes a charming venue for an aperitif or wine-tasting, before dinner in the restaurant. We can even arrange lunches or dinners here for a minimum of four guests.
 
Villa Pauli’s sommeliers are here to provide the club’s visitors with the ultimate drinking experience. Not only leading connoisseurs of wines and champagnes they also provide expert advice on spirits, beer, water, coffee and tea. Before parties and events they advise on selecting wine and champagne, to both compliment the food and enhance the entire concept. When giving advice they place great emphasis on the individual. The art of being a skilful sommelier lies in enabling our guests to enjoy drinks according to personal preferences rather than following prescriptive guidelines.


Winetastings

 

Villa Pauli’s sommeliers offer an imaginative range of tastings. Choose the time that suits you and your friends or colleagues best. You are welcome to tailor your own wine tasting. A wine tasting can make the perfect start to a dinner or a wonderful finish to an intensive conference. One bottle of wine will serve fifteen people so we recommend that the number of participants is calculated accordingly. If you would like a simpler, quicker wine-tasting all of our options can be shortened to 30 minutes.
Premium Winetasting every Wednesday- we begin with a Bordeaux -96 themed tasting on 14th October 7pm


This season’s exclusive wine-cellar tastings start now. We offer three different wine selections to taste. After this we serve a three-course dinner in the wine-cellar. Bookings should be made a week in advance for a minimum of six and a maximum of 8 people. Groups, couples and individuals are all welcome. These tastings are designed for those particularly interested in unique French red wines. Book for one or several evenings at a time. The first tasting will be held on Weds 14th October at 7pm. It is hard to find a better a way to round off a conference, than with a champagne tasting. Delegates sample three different champagnes selected by you from our cellar.
